I was also working every night so yesterday, Sunday, I was SOOOOO tired. Couldnt move! Poor legs and brain.

Got my eyebrows done at Taryns today! Seriosuly, good eyebrows are so underestimated. You dont even need makeup when there that good :)

Its gotta be some kind of sign. So many times have I ended up with an afro wig! Its not like Ive ever owned one. They appear. And they fuckin fit me!
So much better looking in afro than in a wig more similar to my actual hair..

Uh, been such a hormonal freak lately! Before hand; id like to warn sensitive readers, lady over-sharing ahead, mmkay?
So I have one of those inserts, a birth control stick under the skin. It sits there for three years, liberating me from pregnancy and menstruation. All for 32.90 dollars. We like to think of it as a pretty good deal. I just swapped mine the other week (as you can see a few posts back, hehe, eh) and with the old one running low and new kickin in, ive been a wreck! Things in general are quite unstable at the moment; but this whole thing upon it has just been a very unwanted icing on the cake, man.
Going to work Saturday night I was on the verge of tears my entire shift. Took everything so damn personal and just thought everyone was out to get me. Then Sunday morning Im like fuck yeah! Sun is up, pay is good, I look amazing.. what shall I cook for dinner?
And today I was stressing heaps to get to the doctor in time (I fuckin took a cab!), get the stitch removed. I waited 45 minutes. It took 2 minutes to remove it. That annoyed me. It starts to rain, I get wet. No one is free to do things with me and I am staaarving. I want to lay down on the wet pavement and like; fuck the world. Fuck my life.
But theeeeen I jump into mag nation to take shelter from the rain and I find the PERFECT present!! I buy it. Walk down the street, pop into a clothing shop. I spot the perfect skirt! I spot a dress Ive been holding like FIVE times but been like uh, to pricey. Its ON SALE! Then I find another PERFECT present! Same shop! Also on sale! Before all this I randomly buy a book, which I read on the tram home; turns out to be pretty fuckin rad. By the time I get off my tram, the rain has stopped. I pick up some paneer from the local Indian shop and make myself the best fuckin curry soup. On top of the world, baby!

Us kids workin in hospitality have to make random weekdays weekends. This is us at Eurotrash. A very trashy place where bartenders, chefs and waitresses meet on Tuesday nights to drink cheap beers and agua shots.
Me and my new house mate; James! He reminds me of Skalman (a cartoon caracter that has a clock for all the tasks of a day; sleep & eat) cause he has a clock as well. And it often says shot-o-clock!
Lauren! She comin over later tonight to cook us some vegan mac and cheese *excited*
My other new house mate Lora! Lora likes beers, sleeping in and Heroes. I often tell her how much she looks like my cousin Anna. And how much she reminds me of my dear old friend Filippa.

A good few months back when I was looking for a job I had a moment of clarity; “Omg, all the 575 tagged photos of me on Facebook are pretty much all from moments of intoxication.” So I changed my surname to my middle name, Håkansdotter, making myself harder to find for possible employers.
Cause yes, I do like to part-hey, but that is just what I occasionally do on my free time! I can still behave and give an awesome job performance when on duty. It just looks kinda bad. And there are reasons why there mainly party pics circulating on Facebook! For one; there so funny! And really, how often do people bring cameras when going on walks or other non-drinking related activities? *alcoholic in denial*
ANYWAY! My point! When googling my name this blog is your first hit. So.. maybe Im fucked anyway. Or maaaaybe they’re more like; this girl is mad, lets have a beer with her! And lets give her that job too! High five!
I am pretty much hungry all the time these days (shotgun not being pregnant heheee) and since my trip to Svealand is confirmed Ive been day dreaming about certain items! Here is my top three most-missed-things at the moment:
Bearnaise sauce! Taste of butter, shallots, tarragon and vinegar. Have this on pizza, with potato, steamed vegies or fake chicken and prepare to die from overload of oral stimulation! Its not a Swedish sauce per say, its just extremely loved by us and therefore flowing pretty much everywhere to everything! Bearnaise is originally from France, but our ways of nourishing and indulging are rather similar.
Mellanmål! Meal in between lunch and dinner. My fav is smörgås (=sandwich. Now you’re like; eh, I can have a sandwich anywhere in the world. But Im telling you; we are fuckin masters when it comes to sandwich making. Know the word Smorgasbord? Sandwich buffe in Swedish!) and a cup of black tea (we’ve got a mad tea selection back home)
Gourmetbullar! Vegetarian meat balls! Yes, Sweden is definitely a meat loving country due to our old habits (the long winters= no vegies and alota cows). But needless to say; we got some mad substitute meat business goin on! For example fuckin amazing sauges, mince or schnitzels made from mushroom protein (=quorn). Seriously amazing. Better tasting AND so much healthier and politicly correct than meat , tihi. I love these salty balls in my mouth.
So the new job’s great, Im pleased! Like Im rather far from perfect at it now, but pretty dedicated to become sweet as in the very near future.. just you wait! And I’ve got mad spending withdrawals so Im definitely looking forward to mr paycheck. Materialistic shit and delicious dinners here I cooome.
Gotsa save some dineros as well though (lycky that my rent cheaper than a night on the town) cause Im visiting Sweden soon. Yeup! Visa’s running up and it’ll take me few weeks til Im aloud to exist in Australia again. Bullies! But it’s gonna be great anyway, seeing my beloved family and friends, have some Swedish cuisine, freeze my ass off and other cool Swedish stuff. By that time it’s been a year since I had my feet on ms motherland. 12 months. 365 1/4 days. Exciting!
Other exciting news; just saw District 9 and oh yes. That was one dope ass movie. Subtlety similiar to his older work. So gory and yet so political. Two thumbs up, brotha man.
Anyway, gonna have a tea and cigarette with Stuart now and watch some more sci fi (totally in the zone) And True Blood’s comin out tomorrow. How good is that show? I know it sounds gay, but that show rocks my world!
I start off the day with a late start, slurping coffee and being fed strawberreis for breakfast. In bed. After an episode of Heroes and some organising in the room; ill make myself pretty and ready for my first day at my new job, Locanda.
Pretty exciting, as much as i love slacking and chilling, it is extremely boring not working at all. Sleeping in makes me feel like a fuckhead for missing out on precious sunlight and spending money is just ilogical when there’s no income. Anywho! The days of slavery for pennies is back! Wish me luck!
