I am a woman of my words! I watched Anaconda yesterday. Soo good. Ice Cube is rather cute rockin his do-rag in the jungle, J Lo’s nipples are in almost every shot and there are a lot of motherfuckin snakes. I took a screenshot of Owen Wilson in big moma snake’s tummy cus it was so cute.

During sleeplessness yesterday I couldn’t stop thinking of this far-fetched connection between the movie and my coming trip to the country this weekend. As follows

Something is terribly wrong with me. I have been so tired this week that my eyes are burning and swelling (sometimes I feel like a smack in the face!) but I still wont get more than 3-5 hours sleep a night.

The odds tongiht were so good. I mean I even bailed on beers with the classmates so I could go home and just slowly die in bed. School from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm on 3 hours sleep so I was almost already there. No distractions; boyfriend’s still at work, noone’s havin people over, it’s cooled down.. But still.. half past midnight and Im so restless not falling asleep in the dark I have to turn on my laptop n write a post about it. I believe Im suffering from what might be called “to-cool-to-fall-asleep-before-midnight-syndrome”. I AM A MACHINE

To me everything has two (or multiple) sides. So being sick for example; sucks for many obvious reasons but I have decided to look on it from a positive angle!

One, I get to over-consume a lot of things I love like chocolate, ice cream, garlic, ginger and tea. Two, I get to catch up the never-ending lack of sleep. And three, I haven’t smoked since Saturday night!

Unfortunately the Internet is capped and TV is just too shit. I mean its so shit I almost get excited when Biggest Loser is on cause the other programs are even more shit.

Not only do I have pay more than a hundred times more than Australians for my course (no joke) and twice as much for public transport! But I also need to pay 65 dollars for a doctor to give me a piece of paper so school wont fail me for being sick and tell me that I should rest. <3 Love you, Australia!! Think Ive got some masochism tendencies, I often find myself wishing that someone would slap me really hard in the face. A request based on my energy levels, I either want to be hit to fall asleep or wake up. So its in class or in bed I wanna be smacked. Fyi.

And I also love, and I dont think this is very unusual, when you get hurt pretty bad and you kinda think to yourself: fuck, this really hurts. Blood and adrenalin rushes and then suddenly.. the pain changes. I guess its fading but it leaves this heat.. might be the relief as well. But I could hurt myself just to feel that.

Mind you, I dont own leather whips or gags :)

Oh man, i am BURNING up. My diet contains painkillers, iron tablets, cold combats and vitamin b caps. Huh! Unfortunately, one of the many many things that sucks about being an international student is that your not really aloud to have less than 90% presence in class. Unless you have a dr certificate. And I dunno, do people really go to the doctor for a cold with fever? Well, it seems I have to become a person who does that.

Its been a good weekend. Was for reasons unkown in a really good mood Friday night with no plan. Ended up having dinner with Taryn and Eursula at the japanese place (i had one glass of wine n no food lol). Then me n Eurs met up with all the kiwis to see New Zeeland dub, The Black Seeds. It was pretty amazing and as a result of my spontaneous decision to just not eat dinner I got rather tipsy rather fast.

I was pretty wrecked Saturday morning but already made my dinner plans (learned from my mistake there, dinner IS a good thing after all!) and did really not feel like bailing. Met up with Katie, fresh from the states and her woman Bertie for 4 dollar pizzaz n drinks.
Lucky Coq didnt provide a good vibe and the ladies had an early morning the next day so me and Eursula went into the city to meet up with some other boys n girls, after a few vodkas we went on down to check out Steve Spacek, and fucking wow. That shit is beyond.

I am however officially sick now. Voice gone, fever in.
